Bandicoots May 27
28 May 2017 by Les Costa
Mother Nature was still being kind with the weather for our Bandicoots as they took to the field on Saturday afternoon.
The Bandicoots’ focus for skill practice was dribbling and passing with the inside of the foot.
During the Kindy game, all players were using the right technique when taking the kick in. It was fantastic to see players working as a team and not taking the ball from their team mates.
Special mention to Liam who showed real talent when he got stuck in to the match today.
Pre primary and Year 1 players were speeding along in their dribbling practice and the passing this week was on point.
Special mentions to Jake W and Kobi who matched up in the Year 1 game. Both displayed determination and their ball control was excellent.
The improvement seen in all players is incredible. They are all aware of the rules of the game and procedures for restarts. It is easy to see each player is growing in confidence and being confident will result in maximum fun.
Huge thank you to all the parents who stepped up this week to help with small groups during skills practice. No prior experience is necessary to take a group, just follow along with the other groups.
Also thanks to those who helped on the sidelines to assist players taking restarts.
Our kids will all reap the benefits of your involvement.
See you all next week.
