Bandicoots May 20

20 May 2017 by Les Costa

The Bandicoots showed off all their talents in front of a huge crowd on Saturday afternoon.

This week’s focus was on using the inside of the boot to stop and pass the ball.

Kindy players showed huge improvement during the match and the smiles all around were proof of the fun they were having.

Special mention to Taj for bravery when he copped an accidental ball to the face. Soon after a hug from Yaya, he was right back into the game.

Pre primary and Year 1 Bandicoots practised their passing and stopping skills before the match.

During the match, players were determined to do their best for their team. Good passing from restarts contributed to some great runs of play from players such as Pippa, Willow, Chase, Blake and Mylee.

Our volunteer helpers were awesome today. Each small group can benefit from an adult helper during practice activities.

During the game, parents (and grandparents, uncles, aunties and friends) are encouraged to help at restarts from the sideline to remind players where to stand and lead to receive the pass.

We are having so much fun and look forward to next Saturday.
